Maddie and Anna’s Big Picture, by Jane Marlow

reviewed by “VS”

Modern relationships can be messy. Let’s face it, most relationships can be messy at some time or other. Rarely do love and friendship follow smooth roads.

But relationships can, and often do, make us better people: rarely is one not improved by some sort of adversity, and, in the field of human relationships, emotional adversity doesn’t come much harder.

Jane Marlow explores the ‘big picture’ of modern relationships in this engaging book, which explores very unstereotypical characters with a brutal honesty.

This is Marlow’s first novel. She studied French before going to drama school and working as an actress. She is now a journalist and writer.
