A delegation from the Gay and Lesbian Humanist Association and the gay Humanist charity the Pink Triangle Trust laid wreaths at the Cenotaph at the Queer Remembrance ceremony on Sunday 1 November.
Commenting on the ceremony, Pink Triangle trustee Tony Thorne said: “We should never forget the pink triangle and the treatment of lesbians and gay men which it symbolises – a treatment only equalled in its barbarity by that of the Christian Churches in the Middle Ages.”
